Our next meeting will be Thursday June 28, 7:00pm at a new restaurant that opened in Cheshire called The Place (532 West Main St. Cheshire, CT. 06410). It is owned by a member of our club (Chris Sheehan) so lets all support his new business!
On June 2, a few of us attended the 1st Annual Chester Beer and Wine Tasting. We were the only Homebrew Club who had a booth, and it was a grand success! We talked to people about brewing and had some beer to share. We always had a crown around the table, and we were the last table to close down for the night.
We also had a number of people interested in joining the club. 18 new people signed up. We are sending out a message to these people in the hope that they join us for a meeting int he near future. The club is growing and we are making great beer! Even the professional brewers at the testing came around and thought we were making excellent beer.
